John's Foundation was founded to support patients and their families while they are facing a challenging health journey.  Our first endeavor after John's death was providing Thanksgiving Dinner for the patients and their families on the pediatric cancer unit at C.S.  Mott Hospital.  That was in 2001, and 18 years later, we continue to support programs at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, the Adrenal Cancer Center at Michigan Medicine, and in the Ann Arbor community. We also continue to provide a full Thanksgiving Dinner for the patients and their families through our Meals for Mott program.

Raising funds, creating awareness, and providing support has been our goal since The John R. Crosby Foundation became a 501 c3 non profit in 2001. Our projects and program support continues to included:

  • Child and Family Life

  • Adrenal Cancer Research

  • The Giving Library

  • Meals for Mott (Valentines Day, John's Birthday, Spring Holidays, Mothers Day, Thanksgiving Dinner)

  • Paws for Patients

  • Provide camp experiences for patients and their families at North Star Reach and other camp experiences

  • Ele's Place to ensure families receive bereavement support; provide bereavement books and additional resources
